Life on the other side of the casting table...

My entertainment career has taken a new turn since moving back to Minneapolis. First of all, having two little babes makes everything different! Better, busier and happier- different. I am still in a bit of acting hiatus as I have become incredibly selective in choosing on-camera or stage projects to devote my time to. Currently I am working with Giant Steps which is an interactive conference and concert at the Guthrie. I am really excited about it and look forward to spending the day with Creative Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurial Creatives! I am also up for a board position at the new Stillwater Downtown Theater Association. My focus will be to bring children's theater, acting classes and more to the St. Croix River Valley.

I've moved back to Minnesota!! I am thrilled to be back and am excited to jump back into the Minneapolis theatre, film and commercial scene. It's such a great city for arts and culture. I can't wait to get to the Gutherie, The Jungle Theatre, Minneapolis Theater Garage and so many more.
I am working with Moore Creative Talent again and just booked a gig with ShopNBC. Moore is who I booked Shakespeare's Ugly Stix national commercial with and I am sure now that I am back for good, we'll be able to book some great jobs.

The Ballantine's Whiskey ad is running for another year in Europe and was picked up in South Africa, South America, Mexico and Canada. We shot this in Argentina and will be heading back down to Buenos Aires soon. I can't wait!
Sitcoms Live! The newest Collaborative Arts show at Spirit Square opened to a full house and lots of laughs. I am playing Chrissy in Three's Company directed by Patrick Tansor as well as Kelly Bundy in Married With Children directed by Jim Yost (who just won Best Director for the wonderful and hilarious Debbie Does Dallas)! Two ditzy blondes in one show?! Do you see a trend here....?

Poke the Sleeping Bear Wins BEST SHORT FILM at SOLSTICE!!

Poke The Sleeping Bear was featured at the The Solstice Film Festival in my hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota at the Galtier Plaza Theaters and was the recipient of the BEST SHORT FILM AWARD! This is great news for Director Dave Temple and all the cast and crew of PTSB. Check out our updated website at PokeTheSleepingBear.com DVDs are now available.
Rachael Roberts is super thrilled to be making her Charlotte debut as Roberta in this totally uplifting and inspiring show Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical. The story, dialogue and characters are mostly faithful to the original film, performed as tongue-in-cheek spoof, with a musical score of memorable (and memorably raunchy) tunes. After playing to sell-out crowds Off Broadway, it's played to packed houses around the world. Directed by BBTG Founder & Artistic Director James Yost, Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical is the must-see show of the season! Rehearsals have been a blast and Rachael says this is her favorite performance, aside from Dr. Clay in the Off-Broadway adaptation of RoadHouse: The Fightsical, Based on the 1980s Patrick Swayze Film. Rachael is super-stoked to continue the tradition of staging ridiculous movies in the name of high quality theatre.
The houses have been packed (sold out on Saturday) and the reviews are in. Check out what people have to say at

I recently shot the lead role of Donna in David Temple and David Svenson's romantic comedy short Poke the Sleeping Bear. An honest look at relationships this very sweet film was an amazing experience. Based around the thought that "We poke at the ones we love to see if they will love us or leave us." I had a great experience, am blown away by the talent in Charlotte and look forward to working with David again! I also worked with actors Tim Ware, Brian Durkin and the amazing Adina Howard who had me rolling on the set every day!
Greetings! I had a wonderful time in Peru, Argentina and Uruguay and now I am back in the USA and having a great summer! The Shakespeare Ugly Stick Fishing Pole commercials are still running nationally as are Standard Bank in Argentina and Ballantine Whisky through-out all of Europe. Check back soon for updates on upcoming theatre gigs!
